Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your APINY piece — but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have up to 30 days from receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unworn, unused, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging.

  • A proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

To request a return, please email sales@aplaceinnewyork.com within 14 days of receiving your item. Once approved, we’ll provide the return address and a downloadable return label, along with step-by-step instructions.

A £2.99 return fee will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping.
Customers are responsible for downloading and printing the return label provided.

Please note: items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please email us straight away at sales@aplaceinnewyork.com with your order number and a photo, so we can make things right.

Non-returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Personalised or made-to-order items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items

  • Perishable or hygiene-related goods (e.g. beauty products)

Exchanges

Need a different size or colour? The quickest way is to return the item and place a new order once your return has been approved.

EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order was delivered to an EU country, you're entitled to cancel or return it within 14 days, no questions asked. Items must be in original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus the £2.99 return fee.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at sales@aplaceinnewyork.com.
